Helloween is one of the only 80s bands I can think of that doesn't sound cheesy now. Their sound is still very fresh. I have gone back and bought CDs by many bands I liked so many years ago and I find myself really wondering what the appeal was. Heavy metal bands singing songs about love and all that kinda stuff, gimme a break. Very heavy tunes, great vocals, great guitar. This has to be considered one of the greatest releases from the 80s. Not to mention I love the pumpkin that eventually became the mascot for this band. Check this band out and wonder why they never got huge, like Metallica huge. They are certainly more deserving in my opinion than Metallica.
