The first album featuring singer Michael Kiske was Helloween's best. Unfortunately, it would be their last really worthwhile album. Take it easy, take it easy!! I know KEEEPER II is also very good, but one can already see the difference, the impetus in Kai Hansen's playing is clearly vanishing... And, like you or not, Kai Hansen was the soul of Helloween.KEEPER I has an unique atmosphere, a certain punch, the best solos ever recorded by Hansen and Weikath, precise drumming, clear bass lines. I don't like Kiske's vocals (there is not a single German singer that I can think of being a really great singer, but it suited the band greatly.
