A little derivative, but should please power metal fans

I picked up this album right about the time it came out after hearing Real Audio samples of the songs "Dreamland" and "Remember Yesterday," and instantly loving them. To this day, those are my two favorites on the album. The album contains two ballads (the best of which is "Remember Yesterday"), and eight melodic power-metal rockers. There's probably not a bad song in the bunch, but only a few of them were really able to make a strong impression on me. The subject matter of the songs tends to get a little tiring, as it almost seems as though they can't make it through one song without mentioning "metal" or "steel" or something about swords or hammers. Still, I find the album to be very colorful and exciting to listen to, and although I couldn't see myself really recommending this very strongly to the staunchest prog or tech metal fan, I also couldn't see any power-metal fan without it.
