I want this question resolved. Seems no one has it straight. Anyway, this is step above Glory to the Brave but by no means a flawless effort. Hammerfall still remains overrated in my opinion. The songwriting is better on this CD at least in the first half. The second half of the CD falls back into the nondescript choruses that plagued GTTB. And again, Joacim Cans would be much better suited in Stratovarius than in Hammerfall. Don't get me wrong, I am a fan of Hammerfall. I didn't go out and buy a sword after hearing them...oops that was a Rhapsody fan. But I am a fan nonetheless. They are part of the upper echelon of metal bands that now flood the European, Asian, and S. American scenes. This CD is better than the garbage death metal that infests our local CD stores in the U.S. Highlights on this CD are Let the Hammer Fall and At the End of the Rainbow (which starts out very much like Stranger In a StrangeLand with a thumping bass). Remember Yesterday is also a top notch ballad.
