That above, is the only reason this didn't get 5 stars from me: this album just doesn't have any great guitar wizardry that you hear in bands like Blind Guardian, Iron Maiden, Helloween, and especially the new melodic/power metal monsters on the block, Dream Evil. All the songs are great on this though, and this drummer's bass drum sounds like a thunder echo from hell! There's a perfect blend of fast paced tunes, plus a couple cool ballads, everything you'd want in a good power metal debut. I'd say if you like Helloween (The seven keys albums), and Dream Evil, defintely grab this one, also look for their others to see this band progress. Just don't look for Blind Guardian/Iced Earth guitars anywhere. Cheers from Scraggy's Tomb!
