Hammerfall is one of a few bands that can play the same cliché metal riffs and sound AWESOME. One of the reasons for this is the absolute flawless execution and top rate production. These guys are tight. Joacim Cans vocals are crystal clear and full of power and emotion. The cover of David Chastains Angel of Mercy really showcases the vocal ability of Cans. Ex Yngwie Malmsteen drummer Anders Johansson is like a machine. Lets hope, unlike so many other bands, they can keep producing the same style and quality of power metal next time. Hammerfall is one of those bands you don't want to change. If there is something negative about this album it is that some of the couruses are kind of corny and I wish there were a little more lead guitar. Otherwise If it aint broke don't fix it.
