This album rocks! I saw Hammerfall open for Dio on his last tour, and the bad rocked! The singer is a huge Helloween fan, and certainly sounds like him, but with his own voice. The vocals on this album are excellent, the lead and backup vocals. The dueling guitars are killer, the lead guitar is great. The drums and bass are tight too. If you enjoy new metal influenced by Priest and Maiden, this is the album for you. If you prefer thrash, death metal, or industrial, this is "not" the album for you. This band gels like few bands I've heard recently. This album is also better than their last album. It's much better produced, nice crisp sound. I met them backstage, cool dudes, plus the singer is a huge Dio fan (they played on the Holy Dio - Tribute album). Also another great album.
