if you ever wondered, Is there any instrumental power metal albums out there? Well, this is it. Although not intended as such, this collection of 10 Gamma Ray tracks with the lead vocals removed is an awesome collection of instrumental speed and heavy metal. Except for two tracks (Somewhere out in Space, and Shine On) which retain too much of the backing vocals in the mix, all the songs work extremely well as instrumentals mainly due to the great musicianship of bandleader Kai Hansen & the rest of the band and the high-energy nature of their songwriting. Great CD !
