Gamma Ray is one of the leading bands in today's heavy metal scene. Led by the charismatic Kai Hansen (former Helloween) they present us with an amazing mixture of melodic heavy/speed metal. However, I don't feel that they managed to supercede their masterpiece "Land of the Free." All in all, it is worth checking out everything that Kai does, from Gamma Ray to Blind Guardian...
