I guess everyone has their opinion about the best Gamma Ray CD and how Kai Hansen rates as a singer. I only have three Gamma Ray CD's to go on: SOIS, Heading for Tomorrow, and Powerplant. Powerplant beats out SOIS by a fraction. I think the songs are a little heavier and a little more epic. And to Kai's credit, once again he starts a CD with a blistering song. "Anywhere in the Galaxy" does for this album what "Through the Black Hole" does for SOIS - gets your blood pumping! As in my review of SOIS, I must say that this would be a 5-star CD with Ralf Scheepers still singing with this group (or anyone who really does sound like Rob Haldord).
