There's not much to say about Gamma Ray's latest album; it's the kind of great metal CD that has to be experienced to be truly appreciated. The melodic thrash metal that is European power metal is in fine form here, under the watchful eye of its pioneer, singer-guitarist Kai Hansen. Best songs: "Heaven or Hell," "Damn the Machine" (which established Dan Zimmerman as one of my all-time favorite drummers), "Follow Me," and "Lake of Tears."
