Gamma Ray's first album starst with a one-minute intro "Welcome", which is quite scary...then starts "Lust for Live", maybe the best track in this album, it shows good melodic metal, it is fast and rocking! It isn't Iggy Pop cover, it's much better! The next could have been Iron Maiden cover...but no...Kai Hansen had written it...it is quite similar with its style...but it isn't so boring as Iron Maiden's. Hansen sings great! "Space Eater" is very good, quite aggressive song...but not one of my favourites...!!! "Money"...I thought...this must be a Pink Floyd cover...well, almost...it is almost as funny lyrically and musically as it...but it isn't cover. "The Silence" is quite peaceful track---but very touching!

"Hold Your Ground" is in my opinion the second best track in this album after "Lust for Live"...it is tough song with good riffs! "Free Time" is quite fast and at first I didn't like it but then...it started sound very good. "Heading for Tomorrow" has quite good lyrics and chorus but it is too long...it's about 15 minutes long...there's too much instrumental parts...I have to say...the tracks "Halloween" and "Keeper of the Seven Keys" by Helloween were very good but this is very very boring. "Look at Yourself" is fine track to finish the album. It has that kind of language the heavy metal needs...
