Regarding technical playing ( especially lead guitar
and drumming )there is not much to say ; it does not get
any better than this. But that goes for many other
european ( german .... ) power metal outfits as well , and if Edguy are to be compared to Helloween they have to insert a little more " inspiration" in their music.
Nevertheless ; if You look for fast ( very ), precise
and supermelodic powermetal with clear production -
look no further. But if You already heard all thosedozens of genre collegues and want a german band
with skills and own identity - I would suggest a try
with Blind Guardian, Rage, Running Wild or Gamma Ray.
