Edguy is without a doubt the best up and coming band and soon will crown themselves the lords of metal. I hear many people complain that the power metal genre is boring and over done, with no creativity. Mandrake is a very fresh sound, Edguy has some great heavy songs along with their typical power chorus songs. I feel this is the closes thing to real metal as it comes. It has it's moments of uplifting, uptempo songs. Then blasts you away with faster more brutal tracks. Tobias Sammet is an absolute genius. He is only 26 and has already released 5 studio albums and one live album. Not to mention his side project Avantasia which is probably the most beautiful metal I have ever heard. If there are any skeptics out there just wait for there next album Hellfire Club and prepared to be dazzled.
