However, chart-positions are not always the perfect measure, you and your opinions are the perfect measure. Chart positions sound good in a "Best Of " compilation's liner notes: The song "blabla" off the album "blabla" was a huge hit, entering the charts on 14 in "blabla". Go on, nice boost for a big ego of a cocky asshole like me. ;) Seriously, long-term wise, what's it worth if you chart high and don't please yourself and your fans?! What makes us proud and happy is that you really seem to like the album, that the sales seem to go very well and that the big majority of you, our die-hard-fans have attested to us, that the album is anything but toothless and weak! It's not the poor popshit that a few "experts" may have expected from us to prove them right. No, here we go, heavy and -Thanx to you- very happy!
Now we are looking forward to going out and tour, tour, tour - nothing but tour and have a good time with all of you guys. Yesterday we got new pictures of our stage designs. It's awsome and really impressive. You will see very soon, so we are not gonna reveal too much at this point. So thank you all so much for making this a really successful start of Edguy into 2004, now we are off shooting a video for "Lavatory Love Machine". It will be nonsense and we are really looking forward to that. It was a last minute decision, but when it comes to spontaneity and nonsense we have never looked so bad. And by the way, If you can't find your country on the list of tourdates, do not worry. We try to play wherever they let us. So people in Brazil, Chile, Mexico, Australia, Russia and many other places: We are currently working on visiting you. Stay tuned - wherever you are - Hellfire's gonna get you!
