No way on earth anyone can ever get tired of this CD. This album has it all - every song is perfect! The opener starts off like I've never heard, "Silent Night, Bodom Night" is classic, tracks 3 and 5 have sounds that I've never heard anywhere else AND compliment the music perfectly, and Downfall... my favorite Children of Bodom song. Who would have imagined such strong keyboards can actually fit into a song and work?! I didn't. I actually watched the video clip for this song before hearing it. That's what made me buy the album, actually. I already had Follow the Reaper and Hate Crew Deathroll (with the bonus track that's the Slayer cover) when I bought this, and boy - why did I wait?!

I don't know what to say about this album. Its just flat out perfect. No second of this album went to waste when this was written. If you're the mother of a 10 year old, don't let him/her buy this. The lyrics are pretty harsh. Other than that, Alexi's voice is very, very strong, Janne's keyboards are beyond incredible, and the other members do their job to perfection.

Also, I think this is Children of Bodom's most solid effort yet. I don't mean that the result was great - I mean that this is written perfectly, as I said before. This was recorded at the famous Finnvox Studios, if you didn't already know.

To be honest, I don't know why any metal fan doesn't already have this album, unless you're just getting into the genre. If you like ANY music with harsh vocals, this album will be more than satisfying. Go get it - now.

When you get the time, go read some of my other reviews and say if they were helpful or not. Thanks for reading.
