Let me start off by saying that Bodom is the band that got me into metal. About a year ago, my brother brought home Tokyo Warhearts. I absolutely fell in love with the music instantly, but getting used to the vocals took time. Now onto the review...... Hatecrew Deathroll is a very solid album with great riffs and awesome choruses. Alexi Laiho vocals sound amazing on this cd. It sounds like he ripped every word out of his lungs. Their english still isn't that great, but who cares? I thoroughly enjoyed this album, although not as much as Hatebreeder and Follow the Reaper. I can't even compare Bodom to any other bands because they are so ahead of everybody else. The only thing i disliked about the cd was that there were only 9 songs on it. This is a very small con considered how excellent every song on this cd is.
