After first getting into black metal seriously starting with CoB's Follow The Reaper about a year ago, I'm shocked to give them four stars. Though the cd is truly god-like it does what i feared- it doesn't stand up next to Follow the reaper and Hatebreeder. Sounds like they're heading in the wrong direction, Follow the Reaper was utter perfection though, and i guess you just can't expect their next not to let you down. To anyone new to CoB i recommend Hatebreeder, Follow the Reaper, Something Wild, then Hate Crew Deathroll - in that order. That aside, it's an awesome cd; each song is a masterpiece of technicality, beauty, and brutality. Though i consider this their worst cd, it has some of their best stuff to date, which frankly, rocks any other music ever made. Anyone that truly loves talented, technical -music-, this cd and this band are worth your respect.
