What can be said about CoB that hasn't been said already, while also being factual? These guys just rock through and through. Probably no band today can match the skills these guys have with their guitars and keyboards, and mixing them together as well as they do is a feat all in its own.

This album seems to follow the CoB pattern- the newest the album, the less complex the song structure is instrumental-wise. However, don't be worried- there are still plenty of pounding chords, thrash, and speedy solos. On this album, Alexi Laiho's lyrics become more clear, which is a plus- the songs are a little more catchy, from the words down to the symphonic rythyms the main riff produces. It's truly awesome stuff, by a metal standpoint and a music standpoint.

If you are in any way a fan of Dimmu Borgir, Impaled Nazarene, Cradle of Filth, etc., I suggest you pick up this or any other CoB album. They each rock, and should be tried out.
