This album gives of some of Bodom's best efforts, combining the experience of all their past albums. In my opinion it is only behind Follow the Reaper on the Bodom scale of greatness. This album delivers everything that one expects from these finnish legends inane lyrics, guitar solos, keyboard solos, double bass drums, guitar solos, did I mention guitar solos. The guitar players of Children of Bodom are amongst the best playing in metal now and the keyboard player is also top notch. (He is also hilarious to watch in concert when he plays really fast with one hand and drinks a beer with the other!) Even my mother thought that the music on htis album was very good and even pleasent to listen to and this comes from a woman who becomes irratated by Kiss and AC/DC.
