This album is filled with top-notch musicianship. Before this album I thought a keyboard in a band was cheesey, not the case anymore. If you can get over the screaming and listen to the actual music, you will really appreciate this collection of songs. After downloading a song, I was reluctant to buy the album because of the vocals (I'm sorry all you elitist metalheads) because I love metal, but hate it when a lead singer just screams into a mic. That's why I don't consider myself a metalhead. Every song on this CD is a work of art, the blend of guitar and keyboard give it an extra edge on most other metal bands out there. The bass rumbles on, carrying the tempo through the solos. The only thing that is holding this back from a perfect 5 is the vocals, but I detest that type of singing and if I could look past it, so can anyone else...This is a CD that earned a permanent place in my carry-case, which is very hard to get into, with it only having 24 spots.
