When I first listened to this CD, I absolutely hated it. The lyrics were too violent and nihilistic, the melodies didn't sound right, and it just plain seemed that Dimmu Borgir was better. Now that I've listened to it few more times, I'm begining to like it. No, wait. I'm begining to LOVE it. That's right, LOVE! The guitar and keyboard solos are amazing and the vocals are actually better than In Flames' vocals. This is really good music to listen to while you're running or when you're angry. So I say, buy this CD and don't sell it used after the first listen. A few more listens make all the difference.
