This CD is truly amazing! I picked this CD up on a recommendation from a friend online and I wasn't really sure what to expect. I popped it in and as soon as I heard Alexi's playing, I was hooked. His playing is UNGODLY for a 21 year old! And Janne's keyboard playing is also truly amazing. These two hook up for some truly mezmerizing and memorable moments on this album, the keyboard/guitar solo near the end of "Mask of Sanity" being one of my favorites. The best song on this album is "Northern Comfort" followed closely by "Kissing the Shadows." Children of Bodom seamlessly combine great songs with heavy music. I would highly reccomend this album to anyone looking for some seriously unreal guitar playing, or just anyone looking for a melodic band without sacraficing heaviness.
