I can agree to the point that sometimes to much of the keyboards makes it sound a little fruity at first, but thats not much at all, and once you get more used to CoB's style you realize just how great everything is, expecially the keyboards! Though Alexi (the signer/lead guitarist) did state in a interview that he wasnt as pleased as he could of been with this cd, mostly cause of the too much keyboards, this is still an essential cd, and besides, its Children of Bodom, so its got to be perfect. There are still some great guitar solos and amazing song structures throughout it. also the keyboards add a extra eerie sound to it which also makes CoB more distinct than most bands (not all but most). Some great songs on this one are 'follow the reaper''Bodom after midnight''chidren of decadence'Mask of Sanity''Taste of my Scythe' and of course 'Hate Me! all in my opinion are classic CoB songs and are worht buying the album for, but the other songs are ausome too, its just those touch a nerve with me...but anyways, this cd is a ausome buy, dont let the keyboards scare you away, cause you'd be missing out on something really really great, oh yeah, check out all the other CoB cds!!!
