Children Of Bodom entered the studio and started to record their sixth studio album which is scheduled to be released on April 2nd in 2008. Henkka wrote the first part of a studio diary that will regularly inform you about the recording process.

[2007-10-08] Henkka's news on the current situation
We have now all the stuff ready. We've been sitting at the rehearsal place a lot, and we are very happy about all the songs. In a week we will pack our stuff and move to the studio outside of Helsinki. Then it should be six weeks and all the stuff should be recorded. Mikko Karmila will be the guy again who says when we play bad or if something sounds not good. And he will also press the rec button.
The long awaited first official Children Of Bodom DVD will be released this October under the name "Chaos Ridden Years – Stockholm Knockout Live". This release will contain a full gig filmed in Stockholm, Sweden, recorded earlier this year on Febuary 5th. The concert, directed by Patric Ullaeus for Revolver AB, features this setlist:....
Various newspapers (namely at least The Sun (UK), Daily Mail (UK) and Expressen (SE)) have today misused a Children Of Bodom photo on their articles on the Finnish Eurovision Song Contest winner Lordi. These articles claim to have an unmasked photo of the members of Lordi, a band known to perform in their unique monster outfits.
Due to a recent gall-bladder surgery of Slayer frontman Tom Araya, the start of the Unholy Alliance tour was pushed back to June 14th which led to some changes. Please check out the new and final dates in the tour section.
Children Of Bodom will embark on a headlining North American tour with Trivium and Amon Amarth in November 2005. You can find all confirmed dates for the tour here.
Also, the band will perform in their hometown Helsinki in Nosturi on October 29th.

Children Of Bodom will release their fifth studio outing, called "Are You Dead Yet?" later this fall. The album will be released worldwide in September.
[2004-08-10] Children Of Bodom: New EP Trashed, Lost & Strungout delayed until September and Finland tourdates
The upcoming Children Of Bodom EP Trashed, Lost & Strungout was delayed to September, because more recording and mixing work was needed. The EP will contain two cover songs (Andrew W.K.'s "She Is Beautiful" and Alice Cooper's "Bed Of Nails"), and two new songs ("Trashed, Lost & Strungout" and "Knuckleduster").
[2004-05-31] Children Of Bodom: Thrashed, Lost & Strungout EP delayed again
According to Spinefarm, the release date for the upcoming Children Of Bodom Thrashed, Lost & Strungout EP has been delayed to Augusto 2nd. Three different versions of the EP will be issued. Also, the new Warmen (Janne Warman project/band) album is scheduled to be released on September 20th.

More details about Trashed, Lost & Strungout were announced: It will have two new songs and two new cover songs. One of those cover songs will be Bed of Nails from Alice Cooper. A video will be recorded for one of the songs as soon as the USA tour finish. The release date for the EP is Jul 27th.

Alexi Laiho (guitar and vocals) is featured on the #26 special issue of Young Guitar magazine. The 84 pages book contains pictures of Laiho's favourite custom ESP and Jackson guitars, live performance pictures, the full discography of Alexi and 3 tab transcriptions for Follow The Reaper, Bodom After Midnight and I Spit On Your Grave (Sinergy). Also a CD is included with 59 tracks with Laiho's selected licks, riffs and solos, plus a karaoke track and the full tabs for all tracks.
[2004-05-05] Children Of Bodom: New EP "Trashed, Lost & Strung Out" Delayed until the end of July
According to a source close to the band, Children Of Bodom’s upcoming EP Trashed, Lost & Strung Out has been pushed from a June release to the end of July. Reason being: the band plans to shoot a video for the EP when they return home from the Iced Earth/EVERGREY tour at the end of May, and their record label is undecided as to what kind of format the EP should have due to a large surplus of material available to them. Children Of Bodom guitarist and singer Alexi Laiho joined Andrew W.K. onstage during the latter's concert in Milwaukee Friday night (April 23) for a special rendition of "She Is Beautiful".

The Official Children of Bodom Hate Crew website has announced the title for the upcoming Children Of Bodom EP. Trashed, Lost & Strungout! was recorded at Astia Studio with Anssi Kippo and mixed by Mikko Karmila at the Finnvox Studios. The EP is planned to be released in June through Spinefarm Records.
