this is the first blind guardian album i have bought. before this all i knew was the cover of "beyond the realms of death" which was originally a judas preist song. well i am glad i got it. it is a powerful vocal album. there has to be like 6 different vocal tracks atleast. that can be nice but it can be annoying. the last track would be nice if it had a english translation to it. the first track precious jeruselem is a quality song that uses vocal layers with good taste. with a name like "a night at the opera" some of the vocals do sound like theatrical songs. with that said i would highly reccomend this album if you like the power metal genre and the high pitched vocals with many vocal layers. i look forward to getting other albums by them.
