from his house, of course
I'm torn between my irrational love for Blind Guardian and my love for metal when I say I was a little disapointed with "A Night at the Opera." We see much evidence of Hansi being a born-again Christian(the truth!) in these lyrics, and there is that theme and the Trojan War in "And Then There was Silence," the best song on the album in my opinion. It is 14 minutes long, but it seems barely a minute over 6 or 7. Memorizing the lyrics is easier than you would think, even though there is only a pseudo-chorus that is repeated 3 times. It might be because I've listened to it so many times. Anyway, if you want to hear Hansi scream his lungs out, get "Imaginations from the Other Side," or something of the sort. If you want more uplifting music, get "A Night at the Opera." Also something I don't like is the fact that Hansi is no longer playing bass, or at least not on this cd, and guitarists Andre and Marcus aren't singing backup. If you've been a BG fan and you know them well, this is probably worth the money.
